Preparing for Your PTF

To ensure that your results are accurate; refrain from smoking at least 1 hour before the test, consult with your doctor about any medications to withhold prior to testing, wear loose, comfortable attire, and avoid heavy meals 2 hours before testing. During your test you breathe into specialized equipment under the guidance of our trained respiratory therapist. The procedures are painless and typically take between 30 to 60 minutes.
